Let us be NEW

The last Sun of 2008 has gone. The year 2008 is past. We are at the
threshold of a New year-2009.
Is the past important to us anyway? No. It has gone forever from our
life leaving us as memories. Has it taught us anything to use it as a
light in the virgin and unknown path we have to tread on now? But whom
does it show with its light and for what? Are we ourselves are not new
now?
There is nothing as path as such-a path that has been drawn beforehand
for a journey. Actually we travel through ourselves and thereby a path
is created.
I'm the path and the traveller both and simultaneously. But there is a
word –'experience' –one would say and it guides us from its source in
the past. But life can not be taught nor can life teach. Life prepares
us. Like nature-life grows. The more we grow the more we are near to
light-the more we know the more we feel what we need. We become
conscious. An ape can not know what a man need. The whole past has
prepared us, made us as light itself to know, or to discover, a path
hitherto unknown to us. We have been carrying a light, an urge for
something of which we can only be aware of by becoming continually
more –more than what we were in the past.
It is Man who wants to be new by finding a way –and constantly is
after it. He lives in time and so he is in need of a new beginning. He
has been continually becoming a new man in pursuance of an inner
future.
Let us be fulfilled in mortal time in the immortal newness.

"Man is Nature's great term of transition in which she grows conscious
of her aim; in him she looks up from the animal with open eyes towards
the divine ideal."
May we be closer to this divine ideal consciously when a new time
knocks at our door!

the splash of green on my mind

The message of the clouds

There is a call from the bosom of the sky. You have felt it in other
language in the moon-lit night. Now the coconut tree hears the messege
through the clouds. It's intense and silent before breaking onto the
earth beneath.

the moon is also my neighbour

The Moon visits my personl sky above our house-or sometimes on a
corner behind some trees or leaves as is in this image.
She creates the whole sky for getting a place and smiles at me.

Good morning!

Yesterday I was in a little hurry while watering the plants. It's
because the sun already appeared with his sober hues. While moving to
the eastern corner I felt a whisper - as if someone was calling me. It
was silent -but I felt the call. Suddenly, I discovered it-the tiny
rose in the corner. I had overlooked her and was completely unaware of
her existence so far. As I looked on it I heard -"Good morning!"
It was smiling in the cool air.
A silent response instantaneously rose and I told -"I love you!"

the eye of the world

Everyday I go my roof garden in the wee hours to water the potted
plants. It's dark-as dark as night. I begin my day before the Sun
begins. So he wishes me a Good Morning everyday as he appears. I
reciprocate silently with my adoration.
I watch every step of his coming and it's the most beautiful hour of the day!
I live in a place which is not an ideal place for viewing sunrise. But
while watching him rising –as he almost leaps up in the first few
moments I forget that there may be more beautiful scene with the sun
elsewhere!
It is the time of aspiration-for light and a beginning.

So this is for sharing my time with my Flickr friends.

my own flower

It is said that for his love God made His creation.

What if Man had the power to create his own woman in order to love her!

I love flowers and trees. And so for my love I should have the right
to create my own flowers (with my choice of colour and form) that do
not exist in nature. They exist in my mind. The above is my created
flower.

I can not touch it physically. But flowers are not meant for our
touch. They are only to be praised by eyes and mind.

And is it not the hidden truth of love that it can never be felt by touch?

The world exists in mind

When I sigh for the vanishing green and when the wind blows without
the orcheatra played by the millions of hands of leaves and branches-I
go on creating the trees in my mind.
But -some may find in them -not trees and leaves -but a reflection of my mind!
This is perhaps-when one falls in love with something-one -unknowingly
becomes that. Then there exists only one-not TWOs or many.

I'm the soil whereon grow the trees!

A tree and Calcutta Medical College

While walking down a street beside the Calcutta Medical College and
Hospital-the tree caught my eyes. So I took it. I'm not at all
interested in buildings-but I could not separate the tree that unlike
me loved the building.
The building is more than hundred years old. It is one of the several
wards. It was built by the British.
