In this investiture of fleshly life A soul that is a spark of God survives . And sometimes it breaks through the sordid screen And kindles a fire that makes us half-divine. Savitri, Book 11, Canto V

Happy September
The days of rains are over in West Bengal. It's time in between
Monsoon season and winter. It's Bengal's own way to express happiness.
This is peculiar to Bengal. The mind fails to get involved in anything
and yearns for something spreading like the white and scattered clouds
in the sky.
The transparent air carries the fragrance of the flower-we call -'shefali'.
This moment is captured by my daughter as she sees from the backyard
of our house.
