In this investiture of fleshly life A soul that is a spark of God survives . And sometimes it breaks through the sordid screen And kindles a fire that makes us half-divine. Savitri, Book 11, Canto V

the day was just waiting to bid adieu

I love every day as it will never come back again in the same way. At
the time it will leave forever -it will carry with it all my emotions
and passions.
I feel for it as I have my life lived in its time!
It will leave in silence along with the sun after a few moments.

I will be still waiting -only to hear it singing my life in the tunes
of the chirping crickets when the stars will appear one after another.

full moon tonight

"tumi robe nirobe hridoye mamo
nibiro nibhrita purnima nishithini samo..."
- Rabindranath Tagore

You are there in my heart silent and alone
like the moon in full moon night...

inner and outer

The outer is the shadow of the inner. That is just the opposite of our belief.
For the inner vastness- it's possible to see with awe at the vast
spread of a sea. The sky above achieves its space only for our
infinite consciousness.
When we smell the fragrance of a flower we smell our own yearning-our own self.
When we love someone -we touch our inner soul.

my unspoken words

My words, throughout my life never have carried the true expression of
my self. Whatever I uttered was far from what I liked to say and that
blurred expression hid me behind it.

So here are the true words-read it for my sake.

Cedars of Shimla

Deodar (Cedar)
"The Deodar wants to stay alone,
Searching always in the sky,
For the star that once shone!
Go away, please go away,
Leave me alone with my cones,
Let the bristles of my luck sting me,
Till there is power in my bones!"

sunset from Kanya Kumari-South India

In Kanyakumari -the extreme southern point of India-three seas
meet-Bay of Bengal, Indian Ocean and Arab Sea. So it's a vast opening!
There is temple seen inside the sea. It is built on a rock. Swami
Vivekananda -an Indian Hindu monk (and a disciple of Sri Ramakrishna-a
great saint) meditated on this rock after swimming across the sea.
Later a temple was built there -called Vivekananda Rock Temple.
