In this investiture of fleshly life A soul that is a spark of God survives . And sometimes it breaks through the sordid screen And kindles a fire that makes us half-divine. Savitri, Book 11, Canto V

reaching out to the sun

Golden bougainvillea

The photograph is taken by my daughter.

It never preaches but sings

When I write it sings behind me. Or it may be said that the wind comes
to play it for my hearing. It helps me in my writing.

The photo is taken from within the room.

The inner lotus

Deep, very deep within one's heart (centre of gravity of your
existence) -it is there-one's soul. It's one's true individuality. But
even one in a million is not aware of its existence. This is the inner
divinity. It's not mind-and can not be known by mind-however great and
brilliant is that mind.
It can not be reached through religious process.
That which thinks not by the mind, that by which the mind is thought,
know That to be the Brahman and not this which men follow after here.

portrait of my alien mind

Unknown and alien. So when I was tagged by one of my friends asking me
to write something about me -I was in trouble. I have nothing to tell
about myself as I have always felt myself an alien.
Just stopping by like a migrating bird I can not have anything that
is worth telling. I am sorry for not keeping the request of my friend.
